You can count on only two things --
books and change.
At only a handful of points in the history of mankind
has a book ever not performed its job.
Perhaps the story fell short, but that wasn't the book's fault.
It went to the trouble of holding itself together and delivering the words or images it was meant to pass on.
Same for change -- it's constant and eternal.
Even the things that seem still are changing.
